Falkirk Business Panel Annual Conference

'Aspirations, Challenges & Opportunities'

Earlier this year, Falkirk Council and the Leadership Group of the Falkirk Business Panel announced their commitment to working together and to supporting each other as all businesses face the challenge of the economic downturn. With the continuation of these difficult times, it is fitting that this year's conference is dedicated to the theme of Aspirations, Challenges and Opportunities.

The conference will feature a range of speakers from the Council and local businesses. Confirmed so far are George Craig of Falkirk Football Club, Craig Morrison from Palimpsest Book Production and Stuart Wallace from Forth Ports Plc, who will be participating in our panel discussion. This will provide delegates with the opportunity to ask questions on challenges and opportunities for Falkirk businesses in the current economic climate.

Mary Pitcaithly OBE, Chief Executive of Falkirk Council, will outline the Council's aspirations for the Falkirk area; and the new support structure for businesses, "Falkirk for Business" will be launched.
