You are the biggest asset that your business will ever have. That’s the bit that probably doesn’t get emphasized enough at the outset of the business start-up journey.

And yes, it’s a daunting and somewhat sobering thought. But the truth is, as women, it probably isn’t anything new.

Take the family and home. The minute you are feeling under the weather or a bit off form and step back from the action - what happens? All too quickly the cogs in the otherwise well-oiled wheel start to slow down until eventually, it stops turning.

In the world of business, you simply cannot afford to let this happen.

Prevention is better than cure as they say, so ensuring that you stay in tip top condition - both emotionally and physically – and equipped to deal with the challenges that family and business life throw at you will stand you in good stead.

Anita Patterson from Healthy Working Lives will set the theme for our next Forth Valley Women Into Business event to be held at Stirling Enterprise Park (Stirling) on Wed 2nd September (6.30pm).
Business Gateway has also lined up a selection of local practitioners to talk on the evening to explain the health benefits of a range of holistic treatments.

Different therapies will be explored including kinesiology, colonic hydrotheraphy, pilates, reiki and hypnotherapy. The benefits of ‘de-cluttering’ (your surroundings and consequently your mind) will also be explored, as will safety in the workplace.

Tea / coffee, pastries and a healthy fruit selection (thanks to Healthy Working Lives kind sponsorship) will be available at no cost to the attendee.
These will be served from 6pm, with the event starting at 6.30pm.
