If you are one of the members of this site that have an online shop you may have thought about or considered it and even if you haven't or don't trade online most of us will have bought something or other at some time.
Your opinion is wanted and valuable
Apart from the unstated objective of getting visitors to buy your product or service there are factors that influence the process and contribute to the successful completion or otherwise of the task. Some of these are
(not an exhaustive list):-
Pre-checkout
> ease to find products
> clear descriptions
> easy to choose options
> obvious [Add to Cart] button
> clearly stated delivery costs
Post checkout
> forced account setup
> too much information required
> too many steps in checkout
Pre-checkout processing
Once a potential customer has added their choice of product what happens next? Where do you send them or where do you end up being sent?
Does it annoy you where you end up?
Where would YOU like to go?
