"Crimestoppers is an independent charity that allows people to give information about crime anonymously via the 0800 555 111 number or the online form. Crimestoppers has been operating within the UK for more than 21 years and IS successful! 19 people every day are arrested as a result of information given to Crimestoppers and every 4 days, one person is arrested and charged with murder or attempted murder! Furthermore, as a result of information given to Crimestoppers £167million worth of drugs have been seized, and £106million worth of stolen goods have been recovered.

We are currently forming a local board to represent the Central Scotland police force area. The sub-board will be supporting local police priorities and making an impact within local communities. We are looking for people with a genuine interest in reducing crime to become local volunteers.

We are also looking for sponsorship for a forthcoming drugs campaign. With a 91% brand recognition, sponsors will benefit from being badged on this hard hitting campaign as well as knowing that they’ll be playing an important role in making our communities safer."
