Happy Brides & Seeking work
It always makes my day to get photos and emails from happy customer. Its an affirmation that I am doing something right in my little hobby business. If you got to my gallery page you will see the last three most recent happy brides. Although I describe this as a hobby business I really should be trying to expand as all 3 of my teenagers are now in higher advanced education and the cushion of benefits that we received while they were in school and doing national qualifications are now all gone. Hubby is in a fairly good job but as none of my teenagers are bringing in any money things are getting a little bit tight. Christmas is almost upon us and I need to find ways of getting my work out to the public attention. My problem is that I am still restricted with my spare time for my business as I help look after my mum by taking her to all her appointments, her shopping, picking up her prescriptions and generally helping her out at home. This only leaves me with the evening in which I can produce the lovely stuff my customers are complimenting me on. I have been offered cabinet space in some shops but again my problem is getting to the shops during the day to keep them stocked and of course purchasing a cabinet in the first place is going to cost.
So I have had another idea and I am wondering if there are any firms within this forum or if you have any connections with larger firms who would like to help their employees out with their Christmas shopping.
What I would like is for employers to invite me to their place of work with samples of my jewellery where their employees can place orders for Christmas presents. I would only be able to visit for an hour at a time eg during lunch hour. I am happy to offer 10% off all orders placed by employees and 15% off listed prices to the business owner by way of thanks.
