It's a question that gets asked time and time again and is often not answered satisfactorily.
The problem is compounded if you try to define the terms themselves. When you try to do that you often find that they don't sit comfortably together and don't actually explain exactly what it is. Adding

I've mentioned the following writer a number of times as his thoughts, primarily based on testing and experience, is instructive, often humourous and as a direct marketer, always practical.

Being a full-time SEM (Search Engine Marketer) I have been conditioned like Pavlov's dog (not a pretty picture) to jump every time Google twitches. Lately Google has been doing a lot of twitching.
Specifically, the rather sta…

This is a great article on how site visitors look and read the content on a site, some interesting reading on the related articles too.

October marks the end of four years trading in Bo'ness for PEBBLES during which there have been many ups and downs - thankfully more ups than downs!
If we knew then what we know now would we have done anything differently? I'm not sure that we would - life is about the journey to coin a cliche, and on the whole it's proving to be a very enjoyable and interesting journey. There are perhaps systems and procedures we would have liked to have in place more quickly, but doing that would have meant t…

It always makes my day to get photos and emails from happy customer. Its an affirmation that I am doing something right in my little hobby business. If you got to my gallery page you will see the last three most recent happy brides. The most recent letter is from a bride to be, the next one is my niece and the third one from a wedding which took place in September.

Lime Design is a fairly new business so I know that starting a business at any time can be a challenging experience as limited resources are being stretched to breaking point. With all the demands on their start up budget some companies choose to cut corners when considering their company identity and how professional they will look in a marketplace where competition is tough.
Lime Design are offering a new business start-up package which includes a design consultation, company logo and a range…

It's that time of year again - the AGM of Bo'ness Means Business will take place on Tuesday 6th October in the IVY TEAROOM on South Street and all local businesses are invited.
The AGM is scheduled for 6.30 and will last no longer than half an hour.
Following the official business we will host an informal social networking event from 7.00 until 9.00 (refreshments provided).
This is an ideal opportunity to get to know other local business people and have a blether. The blethering usually conti…

At the Central Scotland Business Women’s Network Event there was a certain amount of angst at having to go down the procurement route to get business. Business people, especially SME’s get frustrated and their concerns tend to be: it takes up to much time; the process takes too long; the documentation asked for is not relevant to SME’s; getting through the first stage (PQQ) is impossible.
However, get it right and you have has much chance as the larger organisations in winning bids. My company w…

I was at the first event held by the new Central Scotland Business Women’s Network last night at the Inchyra Grange Hotel. The speaker, Jane Gotts from Business Club Scotland (http://www.businessclubscotland.co.uk/ ), gave an excellent insight into how Business Club Scotland can help Businesses in Scotland capitalise on the business opportunities available on the run up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games and other major events.
A great speaker, great venue, excellent business opportunities and good…
