Would Like to get feedback from local businesses for toolbar for Falkirk Council Area

Hi as part of the technology we use for some of our clients, we've personally created a toolbar for the whole of Scotland that links to all council areas, though we've only did a detailed one for the Falkirk area at the moment and a national one also, as were in discussions with certain people within the IT dept(s) of the Scottish Government to consider possibly promoting this service to other council areas to promote themselves easily and effectively and concisely for each council area throughout Scotland and being available from around the world of course.

Taking into account that this software can do many things which can make life a lot of easier for people working within the councils (local government) as well as national government to see what’s going on with each council area alongside the, private and 3 rd sectors also and the toolbar is not spyware by any means its certified by the truste organisation. ( http://www.truste.org )

As part of a project were working on for the Scottish Government with permissions from some of their IT personnel and they would like to get comments and feedback on the usefulness of such software being run by a local council in the end and to benefit of local businesses within a local council area of Scotland by keeping up to date what’s going on locally of course using local council sites, certain tourist business sites, local business gateways and rss feeds from local as well as national level agencies.

If you would like to help out with this feedback and comments you can download the toolbar for the Falkirk Council Area at http://millenniumlink.org.uk and we would like hear what your feedback about the toolbar from local businesses which would be greatly appreciated so we can show the Scottish Government some thoughts on using this software for other council areas which Falkirk was choosen to do first of all since were based here of course. ( The toolbar software will only work within Firefox or Internet Explorer )

You may also like to know we link to all the blog feeds on this site also within the toolbar so you can keep right up to date with what’s going on with out coming to the site, maybe useful for some of you who are too busy to keep popping back and forth and links to the rss feeds from the council sites, Falkirk herald and many more local organisations, it also has a radio player that plays central fm and you can add your own podcasts, internet radio stations as you please and you can add your own personal mp3 files to play on the toolbar radio also for your own pleasure only of course.

The software also allows you to add other toolbars using the same technology without you having to have numerous toolbars of course and are added to a drop down menu which we will be displaying when we launch the toolbars for each regional council area throughout Scotland in due course.

The toolbar is non profit making in case any one is wondering!

So try make the effort to give us feedback here on the toolbar folks it will be greatly appreciated good or bad were not biased after all thanks :-)

Kind Regards
